It acts as a fuel gauge by monitoring and displaying information such as battery volts and amps, charge/discharge status, remaining capacity and water tank levels. Compatible with any deep cycle 12 Volt lead acid battery, the Drifter displays complete battery management data, allowing you to enjoy stress free traveling.

    The Drifter is not compatible with lithium batteries. The state of charge algorithms are programmed for AGM batteries only.
    No, the Drifter cannot be upgraded to work with lithium batteries.
    The Drifter’s screen power is separate from the pump and isolation switches. Check the fuse at your battery positive terminal, this supplies power to pin 2 of the 5 pin connector.
    Tank sensors can read incorrectly due to mineral and scale build-up. It is recommended to clean your tanks with a tank cleaning tablet.
    You can run an inverter with the Drifter. The Drifter can take up to 80A constant, 100A peak with the standard 100A shunt.
