The Blue Sea Systems 5502 Class T Fuse Block is a heavy-duty, high-current fuse holder designed to provide secure and reliable mounting for Class T fuses rated from 225A to 400A. Engineered for demanding DC electrical installations, it is particularly well suited to lithium battery banks, inverter systems, marine electrical installations and off-grid power applications.
With a maximum voltage rating of 160V DC, the fuse block is suitable for a wide range of low-voltage DC power systems, including 12V, 24V and 48V battery installations, when used with an appropriately rated Class T fuse.
Class T fuses offer exceptionally high short-circuit interrupting capability, making them particularly suitable for LiFePO4 lithium battery systems, where substantial fault currents may be present. The 5502 fuse block provides a robust mounting platform for these fuses, helping protect battery cables, inverters and associated DC electrical equipment.
The fuse block features tin-plated copper mounting blocks for reliable electrical connections, heavy-duty M10 terminal studs and an insulating protective cover to reduce the risk of accidental contact with live connections.
