Ultra compact alternative to a single 300mm fluorescent style light fitting but with a much smaller footprint. The switch is mounted in one of the ends and will passively glow in the dark (after being exposed to ambient light). This attractive light fitting provides a simple solution to complex lighting scenarios. Very easy to install and extremely popular in the RV / Marine market.

There is a small notch between the clear lens and aluminum base, using a small flat head screw driver pry it open (see image above). You will not crack or cause any damage by doing this as the lens is a diamond Polycarbonate which is extremely strong.
