The Dualcom Solar Power System is a professionally engineered off-grid solution designed to provide reliable, autonomous power for Off-Grid systems including Lighting, CCTV cameras, communications equipment and other devices.
Each system is housed within a heavy-duty IP66 powder-coated steel enclosure and is fully assembled, configured and tested in-house by Dualcom before dispatch. Designed for indoor and outdoor environments, it combines premium Victron Energy charging equipment with fused DC distribution and optional remote system connectivity.
"Optional" CerboGX – Remote Monitoring & Access Control
The Integrated Victron Cerbo GX can connect to an existing internet connection through its LAN port or Wi-Fi. Once connected, authorised users can securely access the system through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) Portal from anywhere with an internet connection.
The VRM Portal provides remote visibility of important system information, including:
- Battery state of charge
- Battery voltage and current
- Solar charging performance
- Historical energy and charging data
- System alarms and operational status
The Cerbo GX also provides two programmable 6A relay outputs. When correctly configured and interfaced with the connected equipment, these relays can be used to remotely switch compatible devices or circuits on and off. This may be useful for remotely restarting a camera, router or communications device without requiring a site visit.
Please note that an active internet connection is required for remote VRM monitoring and control. Cellular modem, SIM card and data connection are not included unless specified.
"Optional" GlobalLink 520 – Remote Monitoring Only
When selected, the Victron GlobalLink 520 is fitted before dispatch, providing remote access to system information through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) Portal.
With the system’s battery monitor and solar controller connected, you can view:
- Battery state of charge
- Battery voltage and current
- Solar charging performance
- Historical energy and charging data
- Configured alarms and system status
The GlobalLink 520 includes built-in 4G LTE-M connectivity and a prepaid SIM with five years of connectivity included, subject to compatible network coverage at the installation site. No separate router or customer-supplied SIM is required.
It also provides one remotely controlled relay, however this is only rated for 2A. When correctly wired and interfaced with compatible equipment, this can switch a device or circuit on and off.
Please note: Monitoring updates are periodic rather than live. Relay commands can take up to 15 minutes to take effect, or longer if connectivity is unavailable. The included cellular connection is dedicated to system monitoring and does not provide internet access for cameras, routers or other equipment.
