The BatteryPlus35-II-HA is a complete high-current battery management system designed to support the transition to lithium battery technology in caravans and motorhomes. This all-in-one power solution integrates a 35A DC power supply for 12V loads, 30A multi-stage AC battery charger, and 30A MPPT solar regulator, along with comprehensive battery protection features.

Designed for seamless integration with BMPRO systems, the BatteryPlus35-II-HA can be connected via CAN Bus to the Trek Battery Monitor or, through the OdysseyLink, to the Odyssey Touch Screen for real-time battery monitoring and control of caravan features. It is also compatible with the BC300 via CommLink for accurate high-current battery monitoring.

Supplied pre-wired with a permanent mains power lead, the BatteryPlus35-II-HA accepts both 110V and 240V AC input, making it ideal for use on powered campsites.

How do I connect solar panels to my BP35 or J35?

If your BP35 or J35 unit has solar in built, the positive and negative leads from your solar panels are connected directly to the solar input and output on the solar distribution board. The solar regulator is in built for this.

What solar panel voltage will the BP35 / J35 handle?

The max input voltage for the built-in regulator is 25V, so be sure to check the "Voc" value of your solar panel does not exceed this.

Why does the power not come back instantly when I deactivate the remote switch on the BP35 when using DC power?

When the BP35 is powered solely by DC power, there are physical limitations within the electronics, which mean that the unit will only start supplying power after approximately 30-45 seconds. If powered by AC power, these outputs such as lights etc. will turn on immediately.

The unit also features a 40A rated uncontrolled +BRK battery output. This output is specifically designed for loads which do not need to be isolated or have a current rating of higher than the inbuilt circuit protection of the individual outputs and have a current rating less than 40 A.
