The BMPRO 10 Metre Data Cable is a purpose-built communication cable designed for connecting compatible BMPRO power management systems, displays and control nodes. The extended 10 metre length is ideal for larger caravans, motorhomes and RV installations where components need to be positioned further apart.
Unlike a standard Ethernet cable, the BMPRO Data Cable uses a dedicated BMPRO wiring configuration engineered to transmit both power and data between compatible devices. Although it uses familiar RJ45 connectors, BMPRO specifically advises that a generic RJ45/Ethernet cable should not be substituted, as the wiring configuration is different and may result in incompatibility.
With plug-and-play RJ45 connections, the cable provides a straightforward way to extend communication between BMPRO equipment while maintaining the correct factory connection.
